The month of May: Human Pride Curaçao
In light of the current Cocid-19 crisis and the great initiatives that are emerging on the island, the Curaçao Pride organization has declared the month of May the Human Pride Curaçao month. This online initiative was created to collectively encourage people to express their pride in society.
“The current crisis has created many humane initiatives and we believe that the people who play an active role in this should be recognized. Not only do we call on people to speak out positively about such initiatives, but also to put their parents, neighbors or friends in the spotlight. People can post a photo of the person they’re proud of or the Human Pride logo on Facebook with the hashtag #humanpridecuracao.
With this initiative, the organization hopes to initiate a flow of positive and moving messages in an era where news is dominated by uncertainty and fear. A selection of these great posts will also be shared on Human Pride’s Facebook page, facebook.com/worldhumanpride, to reach a wide audience.
We are proud of all people of Curacao!
